BATTY (Pinky Bud)

Here at the studio, we thought it would be cute to include our signature neon pink color in just the snout of one of our BATTY pieces. This unique effect is achieved by painting the back of the fluorescent acrylic with white paint before assembly. The brightness of the snout compliments the subtlety of the natural birch wood face. The fur texture is achieved by using the laser cutter to engrave hand-drawn patterns into the material.

BATTY measures in at 12” x 12” x 0.5” and is ready-to-hang.

Each piece starts out as an idea, then a vector drawing. Using a CNC laser cutter, we cut dozens of individual parts from birch plywood and cast acrylic plastic. The parts are then sanded, painted, and assembled by hand. All BATTY variations have unique color ways and combinations of materials. No two artworks are the same.
